Becoming A Member: In order to become a member of Scotsmarket.com, click on the "Login Here" text on the left panel of the site. From this page, it will ask you to enter in your username and password. Since you want to sign up as a new member, click on the link that says "Click here if you are a new member" to begin the registration process. From here it will prompt you to fill out a form. Once that is complete, click on the proceed button to move on to the next step. You are now registered with the site! However, you will be unable to purchase items until you fill out the bold fields on this page. Once you are done filling it out, click on the "Save" button. You are now fully registered! Modifying Account Information: If you wish to modify your account information, simply click on the "Your Settings" text on the left panel of the site, once you are logged on. From here you can modify the form fields and then click on "Save" to update your profile. If you wish to change your password, click on the "Change Password" text on the left panel, then fill out the form and click on the "Change Password" button. We reccommend that you change your password every few months for security purposes. Posting Messages to the Online Forum: In order to maintain a community feel to the site, we have set up an Online Forum where you can share your thoughts and ideas about the theme of the site. Before you post a message on the forum, you must become a member of Scotsmarket.com. Once you are logged on to the site, click on the "Online Forum" text on the left panel of the site. From here you can read about what other people have to say about a topic, or you can start your own topic by clicking on "Post Message". If you wish to contribute to a particular discussion, click on the "Reply" text next to the topic header. Contacting Scotsmarket.com: There are a few ways in which you can contact Scotsmarket.com. Perhaps the easiest way is to fill out our contact form by clicking on the "Contact Us" text on the left panel of the site. After you have filled out the form, click on "Send" and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Also on this page is our mailing address, telephone number, and fax number. If you wish to contact us through these means, please do so. Finding Products: In order to find a product on our site, you must first decide what type of product you are looking for. We currently have two product categories: Music and Videos. One way to find the product you are looking for is to click on the "Products" text on the left panel. From here you can see our 5 most popular products in each category. You can also browse our catalogue, and pick out the products that you are interested in. Alternatively, you can use our search feature on the left panel to find products that meet your criteria. Once you have found the product your looking for, you can Purchase it. Purchasing Products: Once you have found the product you are looking for, click on the Add To Cart button, which will add the product to your shopping cart until you are ready to buy. When you are viewing your shopping cart, you can update the quantities you wish to purchase by changing the quantity field then clicking on the "Update" button. Once you have added the items you wish to purchase to your cart, you can proceed to the check out by clicking on the "Checkout" button on the shopping cart page, or by clicking on the "Checkout" text on the left panel. From here, if you haven't already filled out your billing information, it will ask you to do that, otherwise, it will display your billing information, and ask you to verify that it is correct. After clicking on the button that states "This information is correct", you will see a summary of your order, and you will be given three options for completing the transaction: A. You can fill out the credit card information in the form and complete the order online, B. You can click on the "Print" button, which will give you a printer friendly order summary, which you can send to us by mail or fax with your credit card information, or C. You can call our toll free number and give the order information over the phone. Once the order has been placed, you will be emailed an invoice once it has been shipped. |
